Admittedly, bondage may not be up everyones street. However, if you are into it, vegan bondage is the way to go. Faux leather, fur and all that jazz. Bijoux Indiscrets are making it easy to have all the vegan bondage you want.

Barcelona-based Bijoux Indiscrets recently launched their Maze line—a vegan leather-based bondage collection. The line features vegan bondage accessories—including whips, harnesses, handcuffs, and suspender belts—made with polyurethane, and available in either tan or black.

Bijoux Indiscrets founders Elsa Viegas and Marta Aguiar developed the line—which can be worn as both a fashion statement outdoors and/or during sex—to further the brand’s mission of creating sex products that embrace female sensuality without harming animals or the environment.

Earlier this month, vegan company Good Clean Love received major press coverage from Forbes for its work in phasing out animal-testing in the sex products industry.

Vegan bondage products, along with vegan sex toys is a growing market with more businesses setting up to specifically target it. There are now dedicated vegan brands and brands tailoring many collections to be completely vegan.

Unfortunately, many bondage products currently use real leather. A large portion of lubricants and cleaning products are needlessly tested on animals. Even if it isn’t your scene it’s refreshing to see some brands begin to move away from animal cruelty.

Many products contain an ingredient called casein, which is derived from milk protein making them unethical and certainly not vegan. A quick search now means you’re able to find vegan alternatives of things such as lubricants, condoms, massage oils, toy cleaners, toys (such as magic wands and vibrators), restraints and harnesses.
