Plant Power Fast Food launched their second outlet last week, just north of San Diego. The new location is complete with a drive-thru window and takes over from a previous Burger King outlet.
“This is a perfect location for a healthy drive-thru restaurant,” Plant Power co-founder Zach Vouga said. “We’ve taken a former Burger King and transformed it into a convenient oasis to enjoy a delicious plant-based meal.”
The restaurant serves a variety of typical American dishes such as burgers, hot dogs, fries, sandwiches, wraps and milkshakes.
“As vegan restaurant businesses like ours continue to grow,” Vouga told VegNews, “it’s inevitable that we will increasingly disrupt the animal agriculture model that has been a mainstay of the food business.”
Now, Plant Power Fast Food has their eyes on expanding across the nation and becoming the first mainstream vegan fast-food chain.
