Formula 1 racing driver, Lewis Hamilton, has credited his recent win at the US Grand Prix to his change to a plant-based diet.
“I feel the best I’ve ever felt physically and mentally,” Hamilton told media outlet City A.M.
“All year I’ve felt very strong mentally, but I think physically I’m now taking also a big step, and that’s really the decision I made to change my diet. The best decision was obviously moving to this team; the second best was changing my diet.”
Since changing to a plant-based diet, Hamilton has won three of the four Grand Prix he’s taken part in, he’s now expected to win the World title at the Mexican Grand Prix next weekend.
Lewis Hamilton went plant-based after watching What The Health. The film has been influential in persuading a number of high-level celebrities to adopt a plant-based diet, with Ne-Yo and James Arthur also crediting the film for their diet change.
