Lush Launches Vegan Valentine’s Day Collection

It includes a rose petal infused bath bomb.

Beauty brand Lush has launched a romantic new collection for Valentine’s Day, including 23 cruelty-free and vegan products. The line will be available from January 19th in stores and online.

The cruelty-free brand has included previous fan favourites as part of the range, with the likes of the bubble bar Unicorn Horn, lip-shaped Kiss Me Quick wash card and the Rose Bombshell bath bomb which comes infused with rose petals, all being included.

Natura Cosmeticos Completes Purchase Of The Body Shop From L’Oreal

Lush has been including more vegan items in their product range after consumers increasingly want to buy ethical, cruelty-free products.

“From Whole Lotta Love’s delicate Damask rose … to Melt My Heart’s softening Fair Trade Congolese cocoa butter,” the company stated, “our ethically sourced ingredients are helping spread love all around the world this Valentine’s.”

The brand recently launched 100 vegan products for their Christmas collection and donated $445,000 to help end animal testing.

Meanwhile, rival beauty brand The Body Shop was recently taken over by Natura Cosmeticos, buying the brand from L’Oreal. After announcing a loss in profits, The Body Shop has now increased their vegan product range, in the hope they can attract the modern ethical consumer.

Lush’s vegan Valentine’s Day collection starts at £2 and will be available in stores and online on January 19th.
