Marks and Spencer, one of the largest British retail chains, has launched a vegan Christmas option in the lead up to the festive season.

The new product is called the ‘Chestnut Roast Wrap’ and will retail for £2.80. It’s the first Christmas vegan sandwich option ever released by Marks and Spencer and will include mixed grains, a grape and cranberry chutney in a red pepper wrap.

‘Vegetarians and vegans shouldn’t feel like they are missing out – now veg can be the star of the show,’ says an M&S spokesperson.

M&S are moving to create more meat-free options for the Christmas period, with the chain announcing there will also be vegan options including vegan butternut and beetroot filo parcels.
