High street coffee chain Pret A Manger is launching its first ever vegan cookie as part of its brand new spring menu.
The new menu will be in stores from April 17th, and will also include a new vegan flatbread and a vegan breakfast option.
The vegan cookie will be a Dark Chocolate & Almond Butter Cookie, and will cost £1.45.
It will combine vegan dark chocolate with almond butter and sea salt.

Vegan options have always been growing at Pret, with a Pret spokesperson saying; “Vegan sweet treats are very popular amongst Pret’s customers and this cookie has been created to meet demand.”
The other additional products will be a Mango & Banana Sunshine Bowl, (£2.99), a Vegan Chilli Flat Bread, (£3.99), and a ‘chef’s special’; an Avo, Olive & Tomato baguette (£3.50).
While the new additions are only for the Spring menu, the Avo, Olives & Tomato baguette will become a permanent fixture on Pret’s menu.
Hannah Dolan, Head of Food Development at Pret, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching a new range of products this spring.
“I’m especially excited about the vegan cookie, which combines almond butter with dark chocolate and sea salt to make the perfect afternoon treat.
“We’re also introducing several new ingredients to our menu for the first time, such as black rice and ancho chilli.”
