Meat-free brand Quorn has launched new, vegan Cumberland sausages, which can be found in the frozen aisle at Tesco stores across the nation.
The vegan Cumberland sausages are described as: “High in protein and a great source of fibre. These great tasting vegan sausages are perfectly accompanied by spinach and butternut squash for a delicious warm summer salad, or served simply as a sandwich for a leisurely weekend brunch!”
Quorn recently reported a 16% surge in sales as an increasing number of consumers look for plant-based products.
Speaking about the upturn in sales, Chief executive Kevin Brennan said: “Around the world we are seeing a significant increase in meat-reduction diets, including both flexitarianism and veganism.”
“Choosing to eat Quorn products is a mindful choice to care for your and your family’s health, and also for the health of the planet.”
“What is exciting for us is that Silicon Valley firms keep talking about what they are going to do, while we, a great British innovation, are already delivering it having now served over four billion meals since launching.”
Quorn recently doubled their production output to meet growing demand.
