The world-famous ice cream brand has announced a nationwide delivery service that is debuting in the US. That means residents will be able to order vegan ice cream straight to their doorstep.
Delivery is available anywhere throughout the United States and orders can be placed directly through Ben and Jerry’s website ordering system.
Ice cream deliveries will be delivered frozen and contained within a ‘koozy’ to preserve its freshness.
Häagen-Dazs recently launched their own line of vegan ice cream with four vegan flavours, including Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge, Coconut Caramel, Chocolate Salted Fudge Truffle, and Mocha Chocolate Cookie.
They were relative latecomers to the vegan ice cream market with Ben and Jerry’s having offered vegan ice cream for over a year, with a larger offering of flavours.
Currently, Ben and Jerry’s offer Chunky Monkey, Coffee Caramel Fudge, P.B. & Cookies, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Cherry Garcia, Coconut Seven Layer Bar, and Caramel Almond Brittle.
According to a recent report compiled by market research firm Mintel, vegan ice cream sales in 2016 made up four percent of 13 billion liters (27 billion pints)—that’s one billion pints of cruelty-free ice cream!
