Singaporean street-food kiosk ‘Hello Baby’ opened earlier this month, serving vegan street food such as egg-free frittatas and vegan crab sliders.
Located in Chinatown Street Market, other dishes are also available such as jackfruit-based Cubano sandwiches, vegan waffles topped with caraway maple syrup, burgers, twice-baked potatoes, coconut-based ice cream and milkshakes.
The vegan crab sliders are made from enoki mushrooms covered in a spicy sauce and served in a traditional mantou steamed bun.
The company’s motto reads: “We are redefining and challenging your ideas of veganism. You don’t have to be vegan to eat vegan,”
“You don’t have to be vegan to like our food. You don’t even have to like vegetables. We’re grubby, delicious, and fun. Our food just happens to be vegan.”
Currently in a ‘soft launch period’, opening times are currently 11:30am – 9:30pm every day except Tuesdays.
