Vegan Food Delivery Service Launches In South London

A vegan food delivery service called ‘beet.’, which launched at the beginning of March has quickly gained popularity in the homes of South London.

The food delivery service was set up by Natalia Fellows from her kitchen in South Norwood and says business has been booming since deliveries begun.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser, Natalia explained: “There are a very limited number of vegan outlets in the area so we are very keen to share our passion for plant-based food, while making it convenient for our customers with the option of delivery so the food arrives fresh from our kitchen right to your door.

“We want to take healthy eating and vegan food to everyone and make it available to everyone.

“I really want to change expectations of what vegan food is.

She explained: “We believe in big portions at low prices. Vegan food should be full of flavour and keep you full – it’s got a bad rep for being bland so this is an amazing opportunity to change people’s perceptions on this new lifestyle.”

She added: “It’s been amazing to be able to help people improve their fitness levels through their diet.

“Whether you are doing ‘meat-free Monday’, have an intolerance to gluten or dairy or just fancy a takeaway where you don’t feel guilty afterwards then beet. is perfect for you.”

“I began my career as a personal trainer and going vegan has given me so many benefits from being able to squat heavier weights to no longer having to wear hair extensions.”

Natalia, who picks up ingredients from Surrey Street Market, added: “So far we have been really touched by the response from the community.

“People have been really intrigued and open to eating beautiful nutritious food with no meat or dairy and really impressed that they haven’t needed to add chicken or fish to the meals.

“We’ve had an overwhelming amount of positive feedback on Facebook and so many repeat orders.”
