After Wagamama launched a revamped vegan menu a few months ago, the Japanese chain has now launch the in-demand vegan katsu curry across the nation.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of the curry, which had previously only been available in their ‘noodle lab’ in London.
Approved by the Vegan Society, the seitan katsu curry will now be available within all Wagamama restaurants from today onwards.
The Society had previously teased customers, stating, “The new katsu curry will be hitting stores soon”.
Wagamama already has an extensive vegan menu, however, before today the veggie katsu curry was not suitable for vegans.
The seitan addition allows Wagamama to now compete against YO! Sushi, who also offer a vegan katsu curry, with their version consisting of tofu.
Seven months after it was debuted in the ‘noodle lab’, curry lovers up and down the country can now get to try it for themselves.
