After the launch of Tesco and Sainsbury’s vegan cheese line, we have more choice than ever. Now, Violife are expanding their range with the addition of new (and somewhat abstract) flavours.

Along with the new flavours, Violife packaging is getting a makeover which includes features such as re-sealable packaging, and recipe cards on the reverse of the product sleeves.

The new flavours are:

  • Violife Blu
  • Mediterranean Flavour
  • After Dinner with Cranberries or Blueberries
  • Chicken Flavour (?)

Along with the new flavours, Violife have also expanded their organic range to include Cheddar, Smoked and Herbs, and the new grated Mild Cheddar and Mozzarella.

Violife CEO Anthimos Misailidis says: “Violife has always been dedicated to creating 100 per cent vegan, non-dairy, non-GMO and allergen free foods and now the time is right for a fresh new look.”

Tesco have also released their own line of vegan cheese.

A spokesperson for the brand said: “All Violife’s plant-based foods are free from common allergens lactose and gluten as well as being soy and nut free with no GMO.”

“We are passionate about creating great tasting food without compromise or cruelty using only plant-based ingredients. It is this ethos that has made us so popular with vegans, intolerants, vegetarians and flexitarians.”

“This means that it’s not only vegans who can enjoy the range but people with intolerances, allergies or coeliac disease. As well as anyone who enjoys a healthy lifestyle.”
