Wagamama is set to launch an extended vegan menu at restaurants across the UK. The bigger menu will include a katsu curry and exciting desserts!
Famous for their Asian-fusion food, the chain will launch 5 new vegan dishes in March, including new sides, mains, and desserts.
Leeds resident Rachel Evans visited her local branch earlier in the week, and was told by a member of staff that we can expect the following additions:
- Pumpkin onigiri
- Vegetable tempura
- Seitan katsu curry
- Tofu ramen
- Matcha mille-feuille
In a Facebook comment, the source at the restaurant also said: “There’s also two tarts but they won’t be coming till later in the year and it may only be one of them (dark chocolate and pecan, passion fruit and yuzu)”.
That means as well as the new additions in March, Wagamama is already looking at potential new vegan items for the rest of the year.
So far only a few have been able to try the seitan katsu curry, as it has been going through a trial period at one select location.
With the current vegan menu being received positively across the country, it’s no surprise Wagamama is planning to expand in 2018.
Although Wagamama provides some delicious mains, they have so far been lacking in the dessert department. Nevertheless, the expansion of their menu is set to change this, and we expect that vegans across the UK will be ecstatic.
